NOTICE OF MFDEA BOARD ELECTION

Per the Missouri Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association Constitution and by-laws, MFDEA will hold an election for three MFDEA Board Members at the Tri-State Convention. The election will be during the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 8:30 – 10:00 am.

At last year's convention, under the new Board structure,  9 members were elected and they were randomly given either a one, two, or three year term, with three of the positions to then to be voted on each year. All board members are "At-Large" and do not represent any particular district or portion of the state, so are voted on by the entire voting membership at convention.

The positions open are for the three board members elected at last year's convention who were given a one year term. Those Board members may, if they wish, stand for re-election to the Board.

The board members elected on May 3, 2022, will serve a three year term.

Nominations are open now. Submit nominations by contacting the office at 573-635-1661 or info@mofuneral.org. Nominations can also be made the day of election as a write-in on the ballot.
