Law Review Classes (dates listed below)
Once a month MFDEA provides a review class designed to help prepare prospective funeral directors for the Missouri Funeral Service Law Exam Test. This Law Test covers funeral directing laws, licensing, embalming, preneed sales, OSHA requirements and FTC rules.
Participants who are not currently licensed also receive a free one-year student membership in the MFDEA.
The Law Exam Review class has been extremely popular and successful with participants in the class having a much higher passing rate on the Law Exam than non-participants. In addition, should you take the class and fail to pass the state law exam, you can retake the review class free of charge as many times as you wish.
- Classes are held one Wednesday each month. Call the MFDEA office at 573.635.1661 to make your class reservation.
- A maximum of 10 seats are available. A minimum of 3 students must be met by the Friday morning before the Wednesday class in order for the class to be held. You will be notified if the class will be canceled.
- Please register at least one week prior to the scheduled class.

Cost for the class is $149.00 paid in advance. The fee includes lunch and course materials. Payment is expected at time of reservation.
- MFDEA Members who are licensed funeral directors or embalmers may take the class as a refresher course for only $50.00, paid in advance.
- All law classes begin at 9:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm.
